Buckwalter Landscape Services, Inc. is seeking energetic, individuals to join our professional landscape/lawn maintenance team.

Our goal is to provide professional skilled care to our design build projects as well as our established clients requesting high quality service and to assist employees in training, both on and off season to learn about new materials, new techniques and new trends.

Landscape Foreman

Key Qualifications: 

  • Must be over 18, have reliable transportation and have a valid PA Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Energetic, hard-working and punctual
  • Able and willing to work to a very high standard
  • Able to take direction and work effectively on a team.  Ensure attention to detail when receiving and following instructions.
  • CDL or willingness to obtain a CDL is a plus.
  • Ability to pass background check and periodic drug testing
  • Ability to obtain a medical card
  • Ability and knowledge of equipment operation (preferred) including but not limited to driving a truck with a trailer, skid steers, excavator, zero turn and walk behind mowers, hand tools and chain saws.
  • Experience or Understanding of common landscape plant material including but not limited to: with landscape maintenance materials such as raking and blowing of leaves, edging, mulching, shrubbery pruning and fertilization experience is a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge with hardscape construction and materials including but not limited to concrete, patios, retaining walls, walkways and grading
  • Able to shovel, operate a snow blower.  Snow Plow experience is a plus
  • In the winter, must be able to work whenever weather conditions call for action
  • Act in a professional manner at all times when representing Buckwalter Landscape Services, Inc.
  • Neat, professional grooming and positive attitude is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively, bilingual a plus
  • 1-2+ years of landscape/hardscape experience preferred, but will train the right person.
  • Excellent pay for the right attitude and experience

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Physical labor such as digging, picking, wheel barrowing, carry, moving, placing stone, have the ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Placing/Planting plant material, including trees and shrubbery
  • Loading/unloading trucks with soil, mulch, plant material, stone, etc.
